Who We Are

Vioris is a South Dakota-based cybersecurity firm specializing in AI security and governance. We provide CISO-level strategic guidance to organizations that need expert oversight of their security posture but may not require a full-time security executive. In today's AI-driven landscape, this expertise is more critical than ever.

The rise of AI has fundamentally changed the cybersecurity equation. AI tools introduce new attack surfaces—from data exfiltration through prompts to model poisoning and unauthorized access. At the same time, threat actors now have powerful AI capabilities at their fingertips, making attacks more sophisticated, scalable, and difficult to detect. Organizations need someone who understands both their overall security architecture and the specific risks that AI tools create.

That's where Vioris comes in. We assess your entire cybersecurity posture while providing specialized vetting of AI tools before they enter your environment. We help you adopt AI responsibly—with guardrails, governance, and confidence—while strengthening your defenses against the evolving threat landscape.

Unlike managed service providers or general IT companies that juggle dozens of services (and might sell you copiers on the side), cybersecurity and AI governance is all we do. This singular focus allows us to deliver deeper expertise, stay ahead of emerging risks, and provide the strategic clarity that today's business and legal leaders need.

Kasey L. Olivier

Partner

Kasey L. Olivier is a founding partner of Olivier Miles Holtz, LLP, where she represents clients in business litigation, estate disputes, criminal defense, and complex civil matters across South Dakota. She is recognized for her ability to manage high-stakes cases, develop sharp trial strategies, and deliver results both in negotiations and in the courtroom.

As both an attorney and entrepreneur, Kasey saw firsthand the growing risks surrounding digital evidence and the lack of practical tools available to practicing lawyers. That insight led her to co-found Vioris, where she brings together her legal expertise and business acumen to bridge the gap between advanced forensic technology and the real-world needs of law firms and organizations.

Before establishing her own firms, Kasey served as managing partner of a prominent South Dakota litigation practice and clerked for the Second Judicial Circuit. Her career has spanned the full arc of trial advocacy from pre-litigation strategy through verdict and she has been a consistent leader in South Dakota's legal community, serving as president of both the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association and the Second Circuit Bar Association.

Her work has been recognized with honors such as Super Lawyers Rising Star (2017–2025), the National Trial Lawyers "Top 40 Under 40", and the Arc of Dreams Community Dreamer Award.
